Dancing! Can You Resist it!

girl illustrationImagine the scene!  You walk into the room and the music begins to play!  It’s your favourite track!  You feel the lift!

Is your foot tapping?  Is your head bobbing around?  Do you want to dance?

Whenever we hear the radio and feel the music, doesn’t it just make you want to dance?  Once that favourite track is playing,.....

it is near on impossible to not tap your feet /fingers or bob your head as the vibes take over.  Dancing is a most natural reaction to music and it’s been around forever.  It crosses all borders, all races and religion. It doesn’t matter if you are a silver surfer or a jumpin’ teenager, dance is something for everyone to enjoy!

People dance for all sorts of reasons; religious, hobby, fitness, fun and even to overcome an awkward time in their lives.  Dance has always been around and in the main it’s been for social reasons.  What party have you ever been to where there is no music and dancing?

Dancing at parties is changing!  It is moving on from the plain old disco “handbag dance”. People are looking for something far more these days; they are looking for something with a much greater social experience.

With the variety of partner dancing to choose from, many popularised over recent years by TV dance shows like “Strictly Come Dancing” more and more people are taking up dance classes.  Today, there are a growing number of fun and friendly classes available for you to learn the various dancing styles and over the coming months Dance Booker will be adding more and more on a weekly basis.

Ballroom dance would probably be considered as the most entertaining style there is and was once considered a reserve of the wealthy upper class privileged few.  Other varieties of dancing would include; Salsa, Mambo, Bolero, Swing, Waltz, Tango, Modern Jive, and many more.

So the next time you are in the car with the radio playing, can you resist that natural urge as you start to feel your fingers tap on the wheel and your shoulders move up and down?  If you can’t resist it, then you should start to think about turning that natural energy into a skill that can improve your social life no end.

Book yourself in for a dance class today, it really can change you life!
