Obtaining a Google Map Location Code

• Four simple stages

• Time Required - 2 minutes

• Items Required - Event Venue Postal Code

Stage 1

Follow this link to Google Maps (opens new window) or paste the following into your browser http://maps.google.co.uk/

Stage 2

Enter the Post Code and search - The orange box/arrow indicates the postcode to the dance venues entrance the red arrow indicates the venue itself

Stage 3

Right click on the venues entrance (orange arrow) and select the option "What's Here?"

Stage 4

The Orange arrowed box will now contain the Google map location code which you copy and paste into your class or events venue page in the Google map field.
