Dance Booker Class and Events Promoter/Author Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions are the terms and conditions upon which Dance Booker ("we/us") make this website (along with associated and affiliated websites), marketing and promotional business services offered and provided, that are owned by the group available to (“you”) Events Class Organiser Promoter and form a contract between you and Dance Booker. The Terms and Conditions stated govern your use of the Dance Booker sites and the services provided by Dance Booker.

Dance Booker Definition

Dance Booker is defined as being an advertising and promotions agent who acts in its own name whilst acting for and on behalf of event organisers and promoters in the marketing, event booking and sales promotion of their entertainment and educational events and promotions.

We aim to provide a range of social networking tools to get your advertising and promotional message out to your target audience

We will be constantly searching for new and innovating ways to keep that target audience on our website.

Our current social facilities include Forum - Facebook wall - Facebook comments - Facebook fan page.

Event Organiser / Promoter Definition

An event organiser or promoter  is defined as a person, persons, or business that promotes entertainment and or educational events who agrees to the terms and conditions laid out below.

As part of this agreement you will agree to providing a courtesy reciprocal exchange link to this website

Report Organisers or Promoter

If at any time an event organiser promoter in whatever category; is believed to be operating in an unethical manor or in a way that is working towards the detriment of the aims of the Dance Booker community and its fellow advertisers.  If believed to making false claims about events or the that business is believed not to be complying with the terms and conditions contained herein.  Or the owners business is no longer trading.  Or if the they are making libelous and or defamatory statements across the website and its facilities with regards to other events and organisers promoters. As a subscriber you have the right to report such misuse following which an investigation will take place into the alleged activities.  Once investigated, Dance Booker will have the final say on the status of that organiser promoter.  If the accusations are proved valid then we will have the right to suspend or remove all priviledges of  membership without recompense regardless as to whether maintenance or subscription fees have been paid.

Whist in order to protect the reputation of Dance Booker and its subscribers we welcome reports of wrongdoing!  Any unfounded malicious reporting could result in the reporter of the organiser /promoter having their own subscription rights suspended or removed.  If such action were to take place it will be done without recompense regardless as to whether maintenance or subscription fees have been paid.

Booking

The public can indicate there wish to attend an event on our websites: (24 hours a day and 7 days a week) or at any promotional stand or event as arranged by us.

Privacy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

You can check the information that we hold about you by logging on to our website and checking your Account. You may update your personal information online

Dance Booker will not sell or pass your name, address or e mail address to any third party unless legally obliged to by UK Government authorities.

We may use this information to send you an e-mail newsletter every month to keep you informed of new products and seasonal offers.  You will have the opportunity to opt out of such email newsletters at any time.

All information provided by you with regards to invoices prices and clients etc will remain highly confidential and will not be shared with any other party.

In order to improve the service offered to you we may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to the site and to help personalise the content displayed to each user. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser.

We realise many people use the same password for all their Internet accounts and therefore this information is very sensitive. For this reason your password remains encrypted and we do not have access to it. We can send you a new temporary password should you forget. You will then able to access your account and change the password to something more memorable.

Insurance

You will insure and indemnify Dance Booker from any claim or loss resulting from injury, death, negligence, malpractice or any other reason that affects any client and their party as a result of them booking to attend any event organised or promoted by you that you have advertised on Dance Booker and related sites.

Once a  client enters your event venue and its grounds they become your responsibility and should be covered by your own public liability insurance.

Responsibility

When using the Dance Booker promotional web sites and blogs it is your responsibility to behave in a way that represents good business practice as your views and contributions will be there with links back to you for the general public to see.

In order that we can use your work, ie. photographs, videos, music tracks etc.  by sending it to us you are confirming that your contribution is your own original work, is not defamatory and does not infringe any UK laws, that you have the right to give Dance Booker and its associated sites and third party partners permission to use it for the purposes of promoting both your events and Dance Booker in general and that you have the consent of anyone who is identifiable in your contribution or the consent of their parent / guardian if they are under 16.

Dance Booker may need to contact you for administrative or verification purposes in relation to your contribution, or in relation to particular projects.

Competitions– in the case of entering Dance Booker and or its associated websites affiliates and sponsors competitions, all entries become the property of Dance Booker its associated sites and its third party competition sponsors who are then free to use those entries in any fit and proper manner which could include the use on promotional and sales related goods. Entry is subject to additional terms and conditions that vary from one competition to another. By entering a Dance Booker competition it will be deemed that you have read and accepted the terms and conditions prevailing over that competition.
