Jiving for Haiti

"The evening of Friday 12th March saw "Want2Dance" hold a Freestyle night at their Birstall venue with the aim of raising desperately needed funds for the Haiti Disaster Appeal.

With representation from all the Want2Dance venues across the Midlands, the event was attended by Andy Jobin (Want2Dance Birstall), Steve Carr (Want2Dance Melton), David Rose (Want2Dance Hinckley) and Nikki Rose (Want2Dance Burton & Tamworth)...

Enjoying the night together with members of their respective teams and regular dancers, every penny raised is to be donated to this extremely worthy cause.

Want2Dance would like to say a big Thank You to everyone who showed their support on the night, and a special thank you to all those who donated prizes for the Raffle,

• Burton Albion Football Club:  2 tickets to their Darlington match in April.

• Birstall Social Club:  Their dance hall for the night.

An Auction was also held for a magnum of Champagne which helped raise £60 towards the final total.

A great night was had by all, with £450 being raised in total.
